CareersDisciplines
The trades of a whole home.
A finished home passes through many hands. Someone measures the opening, someone checks it against the wind, someone fits it on a wet Tuesday, and someone picks up the phone years later.
These are our nine disciplines. Each one looks at the same home and notices something different.

Questions
Before you choose.
They are illustrative: typical work for each discipline, written to give you a feel for it. They are not a timetable, a job description or a promise of particular hours, places or projects. Each advert sets out the actual role.
Many skills carry across, as the skills in each trade show: installers often understand aftercare, surveyors understand installation, and customer care learns how every other trade works. If you would like to grow into another trade, talk to your manager. We aim to support people who want to move.
It depends on the role. Some need specific qualifications, licences or safety training; others value experience more than certificates. Each advert says what is essential and what is only helpful.
Roles appear on Search jobs when they are open. On the same page you can register your interest or ask for a job alert for the disciplines you choose.
Next step
From a trade to a role.
Days, drawings, example role titles and skills on this page are illustrative and describe typical work, not specific vacancies. Photographs are concept visualisations. We have a head office in the UK, colleagues working remotely across our markets, and sales and project teams in several capital cities; each advert sets out its own location, hours and requirements.
