Top tasks

Shopping support.

Everything between choosing a product and living with it, in the order it happens. Drag the line to your stage: what happens, what you can do and where to find it.

Stage 01 of 08

Choose

Explore the families, compare options and ask anything before you commit. Nothing is decided yet.

What happens

You browse the shop and the product experience pages, and narrow down what suits your home or project. Some products are ready to order online; others are made to measure and start with a quotation.

What you can do

  • Compare finishes, sizes and options on the experience pages.
  • Note the measurements and photos of where the product will go.
  • Ask Customer Care if you are unsure which product fits.

Stage 02 of 08 · where needed

Quote & survey

Made-to-measure and installed products are priced for your opening, not a catalogue size. Where the opening, access or ground needs checking, we confirm it in person before anything is made.

What happens

You send your requirements and we prepare a quotation. Where measurements, access or the condition of the opening need checking, a survey visit is arranged before anything is made.

What you can do

  • Share rough sizes, photos and the project location.
  • Tell us about access: parking, steps, narrow paths.
  • Ask exactly what the quotation includes, such as delivery or installation.

Stage 03 of 08

Order & pay

Check out from your basket, or follow the steps in your quotation. Prices include VAT. Delivery and installation charges may apply.

What happens

Your basket shows each item and any charges before you pay. For quoted work, the quotation sets out what is included and how to go ahead.

What you can do

  • Check sizes, finishes and quantities in the basket.
  • Use the delivery address where the product is going.
  • Pay with Apple Pay, American Express, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal or Visa.

Stage 04 of 08

Confirmation

Your order confirmation is the most useful document you will have. Keep it: it holds your order number and the details of what you ordered.

What happens

Once your order is placed, a confirmation is sent to the email address you used. It lists what you ordered and what you paid.

What you can do

  • Read it straight away and tell us if anything is wrong.
  • Check your spam folder if it has not arrived.
  • Quote the order number whenever you contact us.

Stage 05 of 08

Preparation

Ready-made items are prepared for dispatch. Made-to-measure items are made to your confirmed specification by our manufacturing partners.

What happens

Your order is checked against the confirmation, made or taken from stock, and packed for the journey. Timing depends on the product and whether it is made to measure; we will tell you what to expect for your order.

What you can do

  • Ask for an update at any time with your order number.
  • Tell us early if anything changes. See Chapter 06.
  • Start preparing the space for delivery.

Stage 06 of 08

Delivery

Large items can arrive on a pallet or need two people to carry. A few minutes of preparation makes the day simple.

What happens

We arrange delivery to the address on your order. Charges, where they apply, are shown before you pay or in your quotation.

What you can do

  • Clear a safe route and a dry place to put things down.
  • Check the packaging before the crew leaves.
  • Photograph any damage and tell us in writing as soon as you can.

Stage 07 of 08 · where booked

Installation

When installation is part of your order, we arrange the visit with you in advance. The team fits the product, checks it works and shows you how to use it.

What happens

The team aims to protect the area, fit and adjust the product, test it with you and take you through everyday use and care.

What you can do

  • Clear the working area and keep pets and children away from it.
  • Tell us about power, access or parking in advance.
  • Ask questions at handover. That is what it is for.

Stage 08 of 08

Aftercare

The journey does not end at the door. A little care through the seasons keeps the product working as it should.

What happens

You live with the product. Care guides help it last. If something is not right, the repair route gathers what we need to help.

What you can do

  • Keep your order confirmation and any documents supplied.
  • Follow the seasonal care guide for your product family.
  • Report a fault with photos and your order number.

Stages 01–02 · Before you order

Measure twice, ask once.

A surveyor measures the width of a garage opening at a modern house.
Survey visit, where needed. Concept visualisation.
  1. 1

    Know the opening

Rough width and height, and where the product will sit. For made-to-measure items, final sizes are confirmed before anything is made.

  2. 2

    Think about use

Who uses it, how often, in what weather. A door for a busy family garage is chosen differently from one for a quiet workshop.

  3. 3

    Look at access

Parking, steps, gates and narrow paths affect delivery and installation. Tell us early.

  4. 4

    Ask what is included

Delivery and installation charges may apply, and not every product includes both. Your quotation or basket shows what applies. If you need an old product taken away, ask before you order.

  5. 5

    Keep the paperwork

Your quotation and order confirmation are the reference for everything that follows.

  6. 6

    Check permissions

If your project may need planning permission, check with your local authority before you order. Our Terms and Conditions explain why this matters.

Stage 03 · Paying

Prices include VAT.

Delivery and installation charges may apply. Any charge for your order is shown in your basket before you pay, or set out in your quotation.

Accepted at checkout

  • Apple Pay
  • American Express

Prices are shown in pounds sterling by default; the currency selector on the site changes the display currency. Your order confirmation shows what you paid.

Stage 06 · Delivery

A good delivery starts the day before.

Getting ready

  • Check the delivery address on your confirmation.
  • Clear a safe route from the road to where items will be left.
  • Choose a dry, flat place for large or long items.
  • Tell us in advance about restricted access or parking.

On the day

  • Count the items against your confirmation.
  • Look over the packaging before the crew leaves.
  • If packaging is visibly damaged, say so and note it on the delivery paperwork where you can.
  • Keep products in their packaging until they are fitted.

If something arrives damaged

  1. Do not fit or use a damaged product.
  2. Photograph the damage, the packaging and any labels.
  3. Keep the packaging.
  4. Tell us in writing as soon as you can (email is best), with your order number and the photos.

The time limits for reporting damage, and how it is put right, are in your order confirmation and our Terms and Conditions.

Changes and cancellations

Changed your mind? Tell us early.

The earlier we hear from you, the more we can do. What is possible depends on where your order is on the journey, and whether it is made to your specification.

  1. SimplestBefore preparation

Changes to the address, contact details or delivery arrangements are usually simplest at this point.

  2. Ask firstOnce made to measure

A product made to your measurements and specification cannot always be changed or resold, so ask before it goes into production.

  3. Keep it unusedAfter delivery

Keep the product unused and in its packaging while we look at your request.
