ISO 9001
Quality management
The international standard for quality management systems: how an organisation plans, checks and improves the quality of its work.
ISO 14001
Environmental management
The international standard for environmental management systems: how an organisation understands and manages its effect on the environment. Environment
OHSAS 18001
Health and safety management
A specification for occupational health and safety management systems. It has since been succeeded by the international standard ISO 45001.
ITB
Technical assessment
Poland’s Building Research Institute, which tests construction products and issues national and European technical assessments.
PZH
Hygienic certificate
Poland’s National Institute of Public Health, which issues hygienic certificates for products and materials used in buildings.
CE marking
Conformity marking
The manufacturer’s declaration that a product meets the EU requirements that apply to it. For construction products it follows a harmonised European standard or a European Technical Assessment.
